Feelings

[singlepic=1164,320,240,,center] I don’t know how you’re feeling but I woke up this morning with a smile on my face that continuously came back throughout the day as I remembered again and again that we succeeded in what we’ve been working so hard for these past few months. Being a winner is just about the best feeling out there, especially when you know you’ve worked your ass off for it and deserve every bit of it. Lars and Uli sure did an excellent job of preparing us physically and mentally for an awesome competition, their hard work and dedication was the driving force behind our success...

We rowed to victory in Hamburg

On 9th of May we met again the Hamburg School of Business Administration (HSBA) for the anual race, the Hanse Rowing Cup. Our coxed eight was leading from the start on at Krugkoppel and extended the lead by almost two boat length until the finish line at the club house of the Hamburger und Germania rowing club close to Kennedybrücke. After the race we enjoyed the summer barbecue at the club house of the Hamburger und Germania rowing club together with the rowers from Hamburg and round about 400 spectators. Hanse Rowing Cup 2009

On May 9, 2009 the Jacobs Rowing Team will row against the team of the Hamburg School of Business Administration (HSBA) at the 2nd Hanse Rowing Cup on the Alster in Hamburg. The race is carried out in gig-eights on the Außenalster. The start of the event will be at 4pm and all supporters and spectators are cordially welcome to cheer for the Jacobs Rowing Team. The race will be broadcasted to the boat house of the Hamburger und Germania Ruderclub by a live coverage from an accompanying boat. So, don't miss the opportunity to join this exciting race and cheer for the Jacobs Rowing Team.
